The Easter Free food and cloth distribution took place at Saint Leo Catholic Church- Ikeja-Lagos. We gave out food and clothing items to over 500 persons. Our special guests were: People with disability (the blind, deaf, dumb, crippled), the widows, drug addicts, street children, destitute, the elderly and indigent kids.
We thank God for making it possible for us to put smiles on the faces of THESE SPECIAL PEOPLE.
Many thanks to everyone who gave clothing and food items to support the project and all those that took out time to participate as volunteers. God bless you all.
The Project-Help-a-Child team, as usual, were also on ground to lend their support. You guys are
wonderful. My special appreciation goes to The Mosignor of St. Leo Catholic Church, John Aniagwu who gave us the permission to use the church premises free of charge (We wanted to use a govt facility, but they turned us down and demanded for money).
To you out there, reading this post, We urge you to join this MOVEMENT to create a world where NOBODY should live in lack.
REACH OUT TO THOSE AROUND YOU WHO ARE IN NEED! IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO PLACE VALUE ON PEOPLE MORE THAN MERE MATERIAL POSSESSIONS. BLESS SOMEBODY WITH FOOD OR CLOTHES TODAY.
SHARE WITH OTHERS WHAT YOU HAVE, LET US TERMINATE LACK IN OUR WORLD.
