Mrs. Esther Obi a 58year old widow, who lost her husband last year received a cash donation today from the Charity City Project team to boost her petty ground nut business. She lives at No 3, Ojelade Street, Beesam, Mafoloku.
Mrs. Obi has 5 children (2 daughters and 3 sons) three of which are married and two of which are school drop outs learning trade. Her children are all financially challenged with responsibilities to look after families to look after.
Mrs. Obi is a petty trader who sells groundnut to make little money to eat. With her inability to move about easily due to a chronic leg pain, she is only able to make few sales as most customers are unwilling to make the trip to her house to buy groundnut.
Mrs. Obi came to us seeking assistance and the Charity City Project team was able to give her little funds to help boost her business, with a promise to support further if Makes judicious use of the money given to her She was extremely happy and so grateful that she could receive support from ‘strangers’. She thanked the team for their love and support and said a little prayer for our donors.
She intend to use the money to buy garri, sugar and groundnut to sell and move her business forward
